Unit1 : The Gerund

Grammar :

Gerund => ---- + ing

Définition:
Le gérondif correspond à la forme nominale du verbe. Il se construit en ajoutant -ing à la base verbale. Il fonctionne comme un nom dont il peut prendre toutes les fonctions.

Exemples:

read --> reading la lecture
skate --> skating le patinage

- I like reading a lot. J'aime beaucoup la lecture.
- Smoking cigarattes is not healthy at all. Fumer des cigarettes n'est pas sain du tout.

Rewrite these sentences by change the forms between brackets to a gerund :
